We are so proud of Kinsley this year; she is only 5 & has grown to be such a great dancer in the last year. Kinsley danced on the mini tap & jazz teams. Half way through the year she ended up adding on a duet jazz dance with Abby. Every dance competition was such a great experience. All the kids support for each other is so nice to see. Yes I was very nervous for her on stage the first duet dance, but they did so awesome & I was so proud of them. We watched back to even the year before when she competed at 4 & were amazed with her growth since then. Nothing was better than Nationals in Vegas when they won National champions it was such a great feeling they worked so hard this year. To see there faces when they played “Come on everybody” was priceless. Then they got to dance in the big show & got second overall in the petite division was so exciting!!! Being apart of the Project 13 family has been so great, we have created some good friendships this year. We can’t wait to see what the next year will bring. We are sad to see this year end but it couldn’t have ended better. Love, Chrissy & Jake Holt

I would like to say that this past year on Project 13 was a memorable experiance for not only my daughter but my whole family. It was not only a "dance" team but a family event. The team really pulled together to make a family of sisters and brothers. They really care for each other and are always there to chear each other on. My daughter has learned to value hard work to reach goals and work together as a team.
Thanks for a collection of memories of smiling, happy, cheerful giggles. Can't wait to see what the next year will bring to our family.

Project 13 did an amazing job for being the 1st year as Studio 13s team. The teachers show so much love to every child and encourage them to work hard but have fun! The kids got along so well- always giving hugs and congratulating each other after each dance. All of us parents had a great time sitting together and cheering on the kids. All of that said, this year has made all of us close and a part of the Studio 13 family. It was an amazing experience and we have met some of the best friends ever! We love Studio 13 and we are looking forward to another National Champion year!!-

Thank you so much Char and Laura for such an AMAZING year!!!  I feel so very lucky to be part of the Project 13 family, what a great group of teachers, kids and family's. The support and encouragement the kids give each other is awesome. I love all of the extra activities we do.....barbeques, swim parties, dinners, performing at the movie's, parades, schools or the mall, what ever it is the kids have so much fun together. Nationals was definitely the highlight of the year, it was so exciting to win so many national champions and then to win the grand national champions too. Wow, I will never forget that day! Bre and I have so many great memories just from the first year and we are looking forward to many more to come. Carrie

Competition teams were awesome.  We have the most talented dancers around.  Charlene and Joy are such creative choreographers, which showed at every competition.  We took 1st place in so many catagories and most all were in top 10 if not top 5 overalls.  Aubrie said that the last day of Nationals was the best day ever!  She turly loves the Studio 13 family.  And during our 2 week vacation after nationals, she found every 13 there was to be found.  Thank you Charlene and Laura.  We are so glad you went out to dinner and took that first crazy step,  look at all the adventures it has taken you on, with lots more to come.  We love you.  Aubrie and Vicki Shadday

This year was absolutly amazing for Project 13. My daughter Bailey danced on junior tap, jazz, and hip hop teams. As well as competed with a solo, duet, and trio. We all became like a second family to our fellow parents and their kids. I can truly say I had such a blast with these people this year. One of my favorite things about being a part of competition is we feel like we are all on one big team, in and away from our little jaunts around Southern California :) Parents and teachers have been blessed to get along well and help each other when needed. There have been multiple times when we have carpooled, helped a kid get dressed, picked up food, helped with hair, supplies, etc. Not leaving out the texts on when each kid goes on and how well they did. Of course, I can't leave out the look on the kids faces when the win their Top awards, (and we were so lucky to have received many )! I would recommend if your child wants to compete, have them try out, we are a great bunch that has a lot of fun!
